Sig Sauer is celebrating the opening of the Sig Experience Center (SEC) in Epping, New Hampshire. The SEC is the latest addition to the Sig Sauer Academy campus, offering immersive, hands-on interaction with the Sig brand and product line. The 40,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility features the new Sig Sauer Flagship Store, range, museum, conference center, and members-only Club 1751.
Sig Sauer Flagship Store
The Flagship Store offers a unique buying experience. Showcasing the latest Sig Sauer products, the store allows customers to view and test those products while getting expert input from Sig Sauer specialists.
Customers may use interactive kiosks to create custom or personalized firearms. Sig Sauer Academy students will find everything they need for classes and training at the Flagship Store.
Sig Sauer Academy Shooting Center
The Shooting Center is a modern, state-of-the-art indoor shooting range. Sig says it is one of the most advanced indoor facilities in America, featuring the latest live-fire training aids. The range serves Sig Sauer Academy students and is open to the public. Shooters may bring their own firearms or test the latest Sig Sauer guns, ammunition, optics, and suppressors. Safety equipment is available to rent, or customers may bring their own. Memberships are available.
The Sig Sauer Museum
The museum offers an immersive look at Sig Sauer’s past, present, and future. The museum features a historical wall chronicling Sig Sauer’s 271-year history, a full-scale interactive diorama showing the latest Sig Sauer military firearms, and a behind the sense look at the Sig Sauer factory.
The museum will also display historical firearms, one-of-a-kind collections, and the latest Sig Sauer prototypes on a rotating basis, so the experience will never get stale.
Conference Center and Club 1751
The Sig Sauer Conference and Events Center includes a modern multi-use space for large meetings and group presentations. The members-only Club 1751 is a private entertainment area for receptions and VIP events.
The Sig Experience Center and Sig’s Vision
Sig Sauer President Ron Cohen remarked, at the SEC’s grand opening, that “The timing of this facility is serendipitous, as over the next eighteen months we will begin to deliver one of the largest small arms contracts in US history, the Next Generation Squad Weapons, to the US Army.”
“The museum at the Sig Experience Center affords us the opportunity to share the story of our military beginnings in 1751 to our emergence as a modern defense industry leader transforming squad level weapons for the US Army and the world with the XM5, XM 250, suppressors, and hybrid ammunition.”
Cohen was joined at the SEC’s ribbon-cutting ceremony by Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, whose state houses the Sig Sauer ammunition production facility, dignitaries of the state of New Hampshire, and Sig Sauer leadership, employees, and distinguished guests.
The facility is now open to the public, offering a new attraction for firearms enthusiasts in the Northeast and visitors to New England. Cohen noted that “The SIG Experience Center marks the next phase in our company’s evolution, and we are immensely proud to have the opportunity to share the excitement of our brand and our accomplishments with the world.”
