The MP320: Sig Sauer’s PDW Attempt

Sig Sauer has made an excellent chassis system with the MP320. Oddly, they are limiting it to such small numbers. They did a fantastic job, and the package is very well made. The MP320 handles well, offers enhanced accuracy, and is reliable. I might swap the dot for something more compact, add a light, and likely use the QD cup for a sling. Then I'll be cooking with gas.

The Walther PPK/S in .32 ACP: The Bond Choice

The Walther PPK/S in .32 ACP is my favorite of the Walther PPK series. The grip is just right, the recoil is almost nothing, and I can carry up to nine rounds. By modern standards, nine rounds of .32 ACP isn't much. The P365 is about the same size and offers ten rounds of 9mm. Still, polymer-frame, ultra-efficient modern handguns will never be as stylish as the PPK/S in .32 ACP.

Bear Creek Arsenal BC-201: Target Ready Rimfire on a Budget

Bear Creek Arsenal went in boldly to revive a semi-auto .17 and .22 Magnum. My take on the Bear Creek Arsenal BC 201 is not a referendum on those designs. It is Bear Creek's take on playing it safe with a base platform that is proven to be reliable and familiar to many shooters but aesthetically upgraded and accurized at a price point not much beyond what one would pay for a stock rifle. Whether you are a dedicated paper puncher or small game hunter, the BCA 201 is an option worth a look.

The Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0: The Ultimate Carry Gun

The Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 completely redeems my opinion of the Bodyguard .380 lineup. It's a very capable little gun that performs admirably. I'm utterly shocked, to be honest. I'm seriously considering replacing my current pocket gun with the Bodyguard. It's a bit of poetic justice that I'm strapping a Bodyguard .380 on when it was the gun that initially deterred me from pocket carry.

The High Standard Model 10: A 1970s Bullpup Shotgun

Shotguns excel at close range, and bullpups excel at close range. It's just tough to find someone who's done it right. So far, the KelTec KS7 has won, but a competent semi-auto would be preferred. Sadly, it wasn't the Model 10.

Kimber Pro Carry II in .45 ACP: A Good CCW Option?

While many modern handguns have made great advancements in terms of weight, ammo capacity, and concealability, Browning's iconic 1911 design still provides a great option for self-defense. The Kimber Pro Carry II is no exception.

Bear Creek Arsenal Grizzly: Pushing the Boundaries on 9mm Clones

Have you tried the Bear Creek Arsenal guns yet? The Grizzly is a G17 clone that combines some of the more popular custom style upgrades to a gun with a shockingly low price. How does the Grizzly compare on the range?

AR-15 Superiority: A Full Review of the LWRC M6IC Rifle

The LWRC M6IC is undeniably a premium rifle, and its price reflects that. However, considering the advanced features, exceptional build quality, and reliable performance, I think the investment is well worth it.

PSA 9mm AR PCC: 3,000 Rounds Later

When I purchased my PX9, I didn’t have high expectations. It was really a “fun gun” purchase for the range because I didn’t have many AR platforms at the time that used Glock mags. I liked the idea of having a pistol and PCC, both in 9mm, that used the same magazine. When I found […]

Feather Industries AT-22: The Ultimate 90s Rimfire

In the late 1990s, Feather Industries came out with the AT-22. Though not cutting-edge, it can still be a fun gun today.
