Bergara has announced two new rifles to its product offerings, the Crest Carbon and the Wilderness Sierra. Both new rifles are available in a wide range of calibers, so shooters have many options to choose from.
The first rifle, the Crest Carbon, takes its inspiration from the 100% carbon fiber stock, which has an internal spine, keeping weight down but providing strength and rigidity. The Crest stock has length-of-pull spaces, and the MS cutout for what Bergara says is a unique versatility to transition from AICS magazine to a traditional floorplate.
The Crest Carbon incorporates the CURE Carbon barrel, which is a balance of carbon and steel. The barrel is optimized mechanically and thermodynamically to perform time and again. The B-14 action has a Cerakote sniper grey finish and features a fluted bolt. The action with the adjustable Bergara Performance trigger makes the rifle smooth functioning and a pleasure to shoot. Available in 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win, .22-250 Rem, 6.5 PRC, .300 Win Mag, and 7mm PRC, the rifle has a weight of just over 6 pounds unloaded and comes with a sub-MOA guarantee. The Carbon Crest has an MSRP of $2,099.
The second new rifle from Bergara is the Sierra rifle in the Wilderness Series. Designed with the hunter in mind, the rifle matches the traditional sporter style of the Ridge rifle but with more adjustability for the shooter. The rifle stock features an adjustable comb for a more custom fit, LOP spacers, and a better visual alignment for the shooter while using a scope.
The Sierra combines the Bergara Fluted No. 5 taper barrel with the B-14 action, both of which sport a Sniper Grey Cerakote finish, for a guaranteed sub-MOA performance. The Sierra is available in many different calibers, such as .22-250 Rem, 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win, 6.5 PRC, .30-06 SPRG, .270 Win, 7mm Rem Mag, 7mm PRC, .300Win Mag, and 300 PRC. Available in either right- or left-hand models, the rifles weigh about 7.5 pounds unloaded and have an MSRP starting at $1,099.
