Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro: Now Suppressor Ready

If you need a handgun that’s ready for muzzle devices right out of the box, you’re in luck. The Springfield Armory Hellcat OSP is now available with a threaded muzzle, making it compatible with suppressors, compensators, and whatever other device you want. Having a handgun you can simply mount your device to with no need for replacing the barrel or sending it off to a gunsmith is a huge win for gun owners, and it’s all backed by the Springfield Armory name.

Features

The new Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro OSP with Threaded Barrel has an extended 4.4-inch threaded barrel and is designed to combine the performance of bigger handguns with superior concealability. This pistol is a well-designed everyday carry pistol that ships ready to accept a suppressor or muzzle device right out of the box. The Hellcat Pro OSP with Threaded Barrel is a compact pistol chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum that has a 15+1 capacity yet still delivers a smaller footprint than other guns in its class. It’s made to be ergonomically friendly and has a slim profile.

The hammer-forged steel barrel has a black Melonite finish for durability and resistance to wear and tear. It features a 1 in 10 twist rate and has .5×28 threading, meaning it’s capable of compatibility with a wide range of muzzle devices. In addition, this gun features the company’s proven OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) configuration, meaning it’s slide milled with the Springfield Micro footprint.

This system is designed to direct mount the smallest, most popular micro red dots for the lowest mount possible, for a streamlined setup that reduces the risk of snagging and printing. And for backup of the aftermarket red dot, a set of co-witnessing U-Dot sights comes standard. These sights are made from a high visibility tritium and luminescent front sight paired with a Tactical Rack rear sight.

This is a well-made pistol that’s good for concealed carry or home defense applications. And because it’s optics and muzzle device ready, the aftermarket possibilities are practically endless.

MSRP for the Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro OSP with Threaded Barrel is set at $667.00.
