WATCHTOWER Firearms has announced the latest product in its company profile, the double-stack Apache 1911 pistol. The pistol is a mix of engineering, performance, and durability that shows the company’s commitment to quality competition firearms at a reasonable price, according to Watchtower.
Constructed from pre-hardened 4140 and 416R stainless steel, the robust tactical-profile grip and frame are matched with a 4.25” slide, making the Apache 1911 virtually an extension of the shooter. With a 4.6” Clark/Para Ramped threaded barrel, the pistol functions well and accurately and allows for end-user customization with items like suppressors. The system has an integrated compensator allowing the shooter to keep the firearm on target for faster follow-up shots, while the compensator port helps to reduce muzzle flip.
From WATCHTOWER Firearms CEO Jason Colosky,
“We are thrilled to bring the APACHE 1911 to the market. This pistol is the culmination of our commitment to excellence in firearm engineering. It’s designed for shooters who refuse to compromise on performance and precision.”
As a testament to its design, the company states the pistol has an unmatched performance in its class. Furthermore, it’s ideal for competitive shooters who demand excellence and value in their gear. The Apache 1911’s match grade trigger has a crisp and clean break, around 3-4 pounds, with each pull. The deep slide serrations provide easy manipulation along with a unique look. The pistol also features an ambidextrous safety so it’s a breeze to shoot regardless of the shooter’s dominant hand.
A tool-less recoil system rounds out the Apache 1911’s features. This system provides a simpler maintenance option for the end user, implying a longer pistol life. The pistol ships from Watchtower with one 17-round and one 20-round magazine. The WATCHTOWER Apache is available now and is on display at SHOT Show 2024 in Vegas. The Apache 1911 double-stack 1911 pistol has an MSRP of $3,599.
