Author/photographer occasional-contrarian Chris Hernandez is a former Marine and retired Army National Guard combat veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, and in Kosovo as part of a UN police mission. A longtime peace officer with a very large southern US border metropolitan police department, Hernandez has worked a wide range of assignments, including several that were both interesting and low profile. He is the author of several novels and and has contributed to various anthologies as well.
