The PROOF Research AR-15 20" Rifle+1-Length Gas .224 Valkyrie 1:7 Carbon Fiber-Wrapped Barrel features a match-grade, thin-contoured 416R stainless steel design with a featherweight carbon-fiber wrap, designed to be up to 64% lighter than traditional steel barrels of similar contour. The slim contoured 416R stainless steel barrel offers exceptional strength, reliability, and lasting corrosion resistance, while the aircraft-grade carbon fiber wrap and thin profile drastically reduce weight without affecting the integrity or reliability of the barrel. Further, the proprietary carbon fiber wrap is impregnated with a proprietary matrix resin composite, designed to deliver superior heat dissipation and incredible accuracy. The rifle+1-length gas system maximizes reliability with most match-grade target loads for safe operation under higher pressures. To top it off, this rifle barrel also comes equipped with a threaded muzzle for quick installation of a variety of flash hiders, brakes, and other muzzle devices. Chambered in .224 Valkyrie.
