This is a Magpul MIAD Gen 1.1 Grip Kit for AR-15/M16 rifles

Magpul’s MIssion ADaptable (MIAD) Gen 1.1 Grip is a drop-in upgrade for AR-pattern rifles, that improves ergonomics with adjustable backstraps, offers better internal storage options, and gives operators the rifle control they need to succeed in high-stress situations.

MIAD Gen 1.1 Grips are available in two dedicated configurations, and each one comes with three detachable backstrap options for custom fitting. Also included are an optional front strap attachment, grip end cap, and a ½ oz. lubrication bottle that fits inside your MIAD grip. Two sizes are available- this TYPE 2 Kit (MAG521) uses taller back-straps for optimized fit with certain 7.62x51 receivers* and the TYPE 1 Kit (MAG520) which is required for most AR15/M4's as well as AR10-type receivers utilizing that standard. All mounting hardware is included.

NOTE: Type 1 MIAD grips (MAG520) are optimized for AR-15/M4 rifles and AR-10 lower receivers that use standard AR-15 grips. Type 2 MIAD grips (MAG521) use taller backstraps optimized for DPMS LR/SR-25 style receivers.
