The Sako® A7 is an ultrareliable bolt action rifle, designed to fill the gap between premium models such as Sako 85 and the cheaper Tikka T3 model. The strong steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and optics rails for exceptional reliability and field-ready service right out of the box, while the single-stage, adjustable trigger offers a crisp break and improved reliability in any hunting environment. A 2-position safety locks the bolt in place when engaged for safe handling, and a dedicated safe unload button forward of the safety switch unlocks the bolt while the safety remains engaged for safe unloading. The tri-lug bolt boasts a 70° throw for smooth cycling and speedy operation. The free-floated and button-rifled cold hammer-forged steel barrel offers exceptional accuracy in mid-range and long-range hunting environments, while the durable, all-weather synthetic stock boasts a comfortable, soft-touch finish for superior comfort and control. Further, the Sako A7 boasts a 50% nylon, 50% fiberglass co-polymer magazine, designed to deliver reliable feeding performance, and is loadable from the top when inserted in the rifle for one-off shots and quick reloads.
