About the Ruger PC9
Trusted by civilian and law enforcement agencies across the country, the Ruger® PC9 is a blowback-operated pistol caliber carbine (PCC) chambered in 9mm Luger (9x19mm). The dead-blow action features a custom tungsten dead-blow weight that shortens bolt travel and reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise for improved control. The bolt is machined from heat-treated, chrome-moly steel for lasting strength, superior structural integrity, and exceptional durability in any fast-action tactical or home defense application. The durable aluminum billet receiver boasts an integrated Picatinny-style rail for versatile optics mounting options and superior stability under stress, while the 16” heavy contoured, cold hammer-forged steel barrel provides exceptional accuracy and lasting field service. 

Prior to 2017, the Ruger PC9 rifle utilized Ruger Security-9® magazines and accessories. In 2018, the Ruger PC Carbine was redesigned with an interchangeable magazine well, designed to accept both Security-9 magazines and Glock®-pattern magazines.
