Beretta 85F Magazines

About the Beretta 85F
The Beretta® 85F is a single-stack concealed-carry pistol, chambered in .380 ACP. Engineered to deliver deep concealment and unwavering reliability in a compact, easy-to-carry package, this pistol features a reliable SA/DA trigger system with a short recoil design and a full-steel alloy frame and open-top slide, engineered to withstand heavy use and abuse in dusty, wet, sandy, and other corrosive environments. Fixed iron sights deliver quick, intuitive target acquisition, while aggressive rear slide serrations offer a positive, non-slip grip for quick slide manipulation, speedy reloads, and reliable clearing. The Beretta 85F also features multiple internal safeties, including a firing pin block that prevents the firing pin from moving or striking cartridge primers without the trigger being pulled, and a firing pin striker, engineered to rotate and disengage when the safety lever is engaged to prevent the firing pin from contacting primers, even if the hammer falls, for safe, confident carry with a round in the chamber for quick deployment and enhanced reliability. The ambidextrous thumb safety lever offers simple control with both left and right-handed users for superior versatility and reliable field service in any environment.

What Does “Single-Action/Double-Action” Trigger System?
Single-action/Double-action pistols allow shooters to fire the pistol by either pulling the hammer back with their thumb or racking the slide before pulling the trigger (single-action), or by simply pulling the trigger and forcing the hammer to pull itself back prior to striking the firing pin (double-action). The single-action stage requires the hammer to be cocked (manually or mechanically) before firing, and offers a light, crisp pull, ensuring accurate shot placement and improved handling. On the other hand, a double-action trigger pull is much heavier and requires an intentional pull. With single-action/double-action pistols, the first trigger pull will be a double-action pull and much heavier. As the slide travels rearward, it will automatically cock the hammer, allowing you to fire with a light and crisp single-action pull with every shot, thereafter, making the single-action/double-action system one of the most reliable and safest hammer-fired pistol designs in the world.
