As you may have already heard, the FMG9 is gonna happen. Some of you may recall the FMG 9 from a SHOT Show over a decade ago (and an episode of Ultimate Weapons<\/span> some year later). It was variously referred to as Magpul’s “flashlight gun” or “briefcase gun”, and it caused quite a stir \u2014 though no one could get behind it on the range, cuz it wasn’t a production weapon. Yet<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Thanks to a collaboration between Magpul Industries and ZevTech, however, that will soon (-ish<\/em>) change.<\/p>\n

It’s been more than 12 years since we first saw the FMG9. We’re looking forward to getting this on the range…but not until next year.<\/p>\n

The FDP and FDC9 won’t be available until 2022.<\/p>\n

The Zev FDC9 and FDP, both descended from the FMG9, are folding gun variants based on the ZevTech OZ9 modular pistol design,<\/em> made in collaboration with Magpul Industries. Originally referred to as a “flashlight gun” or “briefcase gun” (despite being no larger than an old school lunchbox), the forthcoming Folding Defensive Pistol and Folding Defensive Carbine will be chambered in 9 x 19mm and will feed via 9mm Glock mags<\/a>. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
