Perhaps one of the more interesting guns to be announced at SHOT 2024 is the Bear Creek Arsenal MAUL-AR. The newest model from Bear Creek is both a lever-action rifle and an AR-15 platform firearm<\/a>. It’s a fascinating crossover model that should be fun to shoot, as well as making quite the conversation piece.<\/p>\n

Bear Creek Arsenal is known for producing AR-15 platform firearms and gun parts<\/a>, and is proud to announce the launch of its newest product: the MAUL-AR rifle. According to the manufacturer, the MAUL-AR is a revolutionary firearm. It’s designed to deliver both the classic design and reliability of a lever-action rifle and the features and performance of an AR-15.<\/p>\n

The manufacturer states the new rifle will be chambered in various calibers, including a popular caliber that can be used for hunting, target shooting, and self-defense. The MAUL-AR will be available with multiple barrel lengths as well, starting at the 16-inch length. The rifle features a free-floating handguard with M-LOK slots for aftermarket accessories and a Picatinny rail for optics. It’s compatible with AR magazines and utilizes the company’s patented BCG system to reduce felt recoil and improve cycling for superior reliability and solid results on target.<\/p>\n
