Canik USA<\/a> has expanded its Signature Series of pistols with the new Signature Series Apocalypse METE SF 9mm pistol. Joining several other Signature Series pistols, the new Apocalypse METE SF pistol sports a unique Cerakote finish with custom markings fit for a limited-edition weapon from Canik.<\/p>\n

The 9mm Apocalypse pistol is a complete package for the Signature Series featuring a warning chevron color scheme with the Signature Series logo and production number stamped on the slide. Speaking of the slide, it comes optics-ready from the factory with slide plates for the Trijicon RMRcc<\/a> and the Shield RMS\/RMSc optics. It also features a set of 3-dot white sights installed.<\/p>\n

[Photo credit: Canik USA]<\/figcaption><\/figure>Inside the slide is a 4.19\u201d barrel for the semi-automatic pistol, which is matched with the synthetic frame with textured grips, allowing for a light overall weight of less than two pounds. The package comes from Canik with an extra backstrap for the end user to swap out if they have a hand that requires a larger grip than the base. The pistol boasts a strike set indicator, providing the user with an easy tactile feel when necessary. To round out the features of the Apocalypse METE SF pistol is an overall compact size of 7.28\u201d long by 5.21\u201d tall by 1.41\u201d wide.<\/p>\n

But the pistol is only part of the package for the Apocalypse METE SF. The package features a number-matching handgun, a custom-angled fixed blade, and a Limited Edition Zippo lighter, all with the same color schematic. Also inside the Canik Signature Series hard case is an additional 15-round magazine, Canik IWB\/OWB Apocalypse holster, tool kit, punch, magazine loader, and limited edition patch. As far as paperwork goes, the kit has the obvious owner\u2019s manual but also includes a Collectors Certificate with the Production number.<\/p>\n
