Trijicon Introduces HX 5-25×50 First Focal Plane Rifle Scope

Hunters need to have their eye on the prize, and for 2024 they’ll have the latest addition to Trijicon’s popular Tenmile HX series of rifle scopes. Designed for serious hunters, the Tenmile HX 5-25×50 FFP (first focal plane) was designed to ensure speed and precision at all hunting distances and features outstanding glass, highly repeatable adjusters, and a purpose-built first focal plane MOA-based illuminated reticle.

Trijicon announced the availability of the new rifle scope, which features a 5-25 magnification range to provide hunters with the tools necessary to quickly acquire, identify, and engage targets at any hunting distance. The FFP reticle offers red or green center dot illumination for contrast against all backgrounds, while it also contains uncluttered MOA elevation and windage subtensions that can be used at any power setting without any additional calculations.

The rifle scope’s low profile, purpose-driven design is meant to prevent snagging in the field.

“With up to 80 MOA of adjustment, hunters can rely on crisp, precise exposed adjusters that feature a rock-solid zero stop to avoid accidental shift. An easy-focus eyepiece accommodates each shooter’s prescription, while a repositionable magnification lever accommodates different shooting positions and rifle configurations. The Tenmile HX 5-25×50 delivers edge-to-edge image clarity thanks to fully multi-coated broadband anti-reflective glass with excellent light transmission, true detail, and color with zero distortion,” the company announced.

The HX 5-25×50 FFP further offers ultra-durable, all-weather construction to ensure reliable performance in even the most austere conditions. In addition, the riflescope’s low profile, purpose-driven design is meant to prevent snagging in the field.

Key features include pinpoint aiming in any condition, while the fully multi-coated, broadband, anti-reflective glass provides edge-to-edge clarity and excellent light transmission with true detail and color with zero distortion. The 30mm tube offers increased adjuster range while the aircraft-grade aluminum and ruggedized design was engineered to withstand extreme conditions.

Trijicon noted that the Tenmile HX series has been tested to Military Standards and is backed by The Science of Brilliant testing methodology. Every model is also “Alaska-to-Africa Tested” to ensure performance from -20 degrees to 140 degrees (Fahrenheit), giving shooters and hunters supreme confidence in any climate.

Each model is also Solid Zero Tested and subjected to 5,000 rounds of heavy cartridge testing to ensure no reticle shift, while Drop Testing guarantees that those bumps and bruises in the field won’t result in a warranty claim. All models are Shock & Vibration Tested to take on recoil and the abuse of the field without failure. Each model is further Immersion Tested and dry-nitrogen filled to eliminate internal fogging in even the harshest environments.
