Standard Manufacturing provides some details of the SG22:

The SG22 is chambered in .22LR and possesses the classic styling and design elements of the quintessential guns of yesteryear. This John Browning design features a 1911 style magazine release, comfortable wood target grips, smooth action, and adjustable sights, making the SG22 ideal for target shooting.

The Master Gunsmiths at Standard Manufacturing hand make each SG22 individually machined from solid blocks of steel to the highest precision tolerances, not modern manufacturing techniques. Each gun requires many labor-intensive hours of polishing, stoning, and fitting. Only the most experienced gunsmiths can accomplish this; as such, very few gunmakers in the world have the capability or craftsmen to make a gun of this level. We anticipate a great deal of demand for this limited production model, at the time of this printing, the retail price of the Standard Manufacturing SG22 starts at $999 and can be purchased through your local gun shop, through all major distributors, and directly from us.

The gun was created to be reminiscent of the Colt Woodsman designed by John Moses Browning in 1915. Its classic lines and overall aesthetic absolutely call to mind the beauty of the Woodsman while its modern features increase its appeal even more. The SG22 is available with either a blued or case-colored finish. Walnut grips with textured side panels for a firm hold while shooting are featured on the gun regardless of finish.

Features of the SG22 include a fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. According to the gun maker, the sights were specifically designed for superior performance while target shooting. Angled serrations at the rearward portion of the slide make manipulating the slide easier. The trigger is curved and the trigger guard is rounded, which can help reduce the risk of snagging. This gun has a 10-round capacity.
