Sig Sauer reportedly has an upgrade to its extremely popular Romeo family of red dots, the Romeo 9T red dot optic. A sneak peek of the red dot happened at SHOT Show range day.
Initial reports state the Romeo 9T RDS will have two independent dots within the same optic housing. The first dot is a 2 MOA red dot within a 65 MOA ring. The 65 MOA reticle, for those who might not be very familiar, is great for executing quick shots in a home defense application. Given the Romeo line of optics, this fits in perfectly.
The second dot is also a 2 MOA dot that is green in color. With two separate zeros, this optic would have loads of uses. It is reported that the user would be able to swap between the two dots with a push of the button on the housing.
Additionally, it is said that the Romeo 9T RDS will be compatible with night vision, which would be an interesting feature if it is true. No word on pricing or availability yet, but it is reportedly in the final stages and that will probably be available soon.
