Smith & Wesson Introduces New Jerry Miculek Signature Revolver

Few of us are likely to attain the level of shooting skills as Jerry Miculek, who holds five officially sanctioned world records in revolver shooting, as well as more than a dozen more unsanctioned records with firearms ranging from 9mm semi-automatic pistols to the .50 BMG Barrett M107 anti-material rifle. The professional competition shooter has hit the mark countless times, and he’ll leave his mark with the newly released Jerry Miculek signature revolver, the Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 327 WR.

Designed in partnership with Miculek, who serves as Smith & Wesson brand ambassador, the new revolver is noted for embodying both speed and accuracy. Chambered for 9mm Luger, the Model 327 WR is built on a scandium N-Frame and features a lightweight yet strong titanium cylinder that allows operators to quickly and precisely transition between targets. The pistol offers an 8-round capacity, 5-inch ported stainless-steel barrel, and double-action trigger.

It is equipped with a brass bead front and adjustable rear sight package but is also outfitted with a Vortex COMPDOT and C.O.R.E. optic-plate system that can accommodate a wide range of optics to enhance the shooting experience. As it combines function with form, the Model 327 WR also features a JM Signature laminated wood grip that offers optimal ergonomics for any necessary adjustments between holster draw and target acquisition.

Such features alone would make for an impressive handgun to honor the record-holding shooter, but S&W also noted that at the grand opening for its new HQ last October, Miculek set two NRA World Records with his Model 327 WR prototype, making history once again and further positioning himself as one of the greatest shooters ever to live. The records included the fastest time to hit six steel plates at seven yards from the draw with a 9mm handgun in 2.01 seconds and the same with a revolver in 1.88 seconds.

“Crafted from the blueprint of shooting excellence, the new Model 327 WR is more than just a high-performance firearm – it’s a legacy,” explained Corey Beaudreau, product manager at Smith & Wesson. “With modern upgrades to an already trusted platform, Jerry’s new signature revolver is a tribute to the mastery of precision and the art of sports shooting perfected by Jerry himself.”
