Smith and Wesson Model 350: Big Bore Cool

Well-made revolvers are a thing of beauty, and Smith and Wesson is among the gun makers known for doing fantastic work designing and producing them. And while it’s not often we see a revolver in a truly unique chambering, Smith and Wesson has produced one such gun with their Model 350. The gun is chambered in 350 Legend and likely destined to be favored by handgun hunters.

Smith & Wesson Model 350
Designed for the purpose of delivering maximum power for avid handgun hunters, Smith & Wesson engineers created the massive “X-Frame” which serves as the basic design for the most powerful production revolver, the S&W500. The Model 350 utilizes that same frame. (Photo credit: Smith and Wesson)

Smith and Wesson provides details of the Model 350:

The Smith & Wesson Model 350TM is an X-Frame size, double-action/single action revolver with an all stainless-steel construction. Its design includes a 7.5” ported barrel, red ramp front sight & adjustable rear sight system, and dependable Hogue rubber grip. The 350 Legend is one of the flattest shooting straight-walled cartridges on the market today. It is great for medium-sized game and especially whitetail hunting. If you’re looking for a hunting revolver, the Model 350 is it.
