SHOT Show 24: New Steiner T1Xi Red Dot

Steiner Optics has released the all-new Steiner T1Xi red dot rifle sight, the latest addition to the company’s duty optics. The T1Xi is engineered for speed and accuracy regardless of the conditions.

Built around crystal-clear Steiner lenses, the T1Xi has three distinct reticle options to choose from: 60 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot, standalone 60 MOA circle, or 2 MOA dot. These options help make the optic suitable for fast and precise spotting whether close or further out. The Steiner T1Xi features a 24mm objective diameter, allowing for an unobstructed view on a rifle.

Designed to withstand horrible conditions, the nitrogen-filled optic remains fog-free and resists temperature changes. Powered by one CR2032 battery, the sight has a 50,000 hour battery life for a solid-performing optic. The T1Xi features 11 illumination levels to choose from: nine are day/night modes with two night vision compatible modes. Even with gloves on, the user can adjust brightness via the digital buttons.

Mounting is easy with the integrated Picatinny rail mount. The included flip-up covers protect the lenses. Windage and elevation adjustments are in 1 MOA increments with a 90 MOA adjustment range for both.

Users don’t need to worry about the red dot adding weight or bulk to the system; the unit weighs a mere 5.36 ounces and is only 3.15 inches long. The T1Xi includes Steiner’s Heritage Warranty, covering the red dot for its service lifetime. The Steiner Optics T1Xi red dot sight performs and delivers in any weather condition. The T1Xi is available now with an MSRP of $804.99.

Patti Miller is one of the most awesome females in the tactical/firearm (or any) industry. Imagine a tall, hawt, dangerous Laura Ingalls Wilder type with cool hair and a suppressed blaster and you'll be getting the idea. What's interesting is that in addition to being a willing brawler and intrepid adventuress, she's also an Ent/Ogier level gardener and a truly badass baker.
