If there’s one company renowned for their derringers, it’s Bond Arms. The latest gun from the Texas-based manufacturer is the Bond Arms Stinger Fireball, a derringer designed to be lightweight, but magnum-powered. This derringer makes a great addition to any gun collection and can be used for varmints or plinking.
Bond Arms is proud to announce the Stinger Fireball, the newest addition to their family of derringers. The Stinger Fireball was designed to address the issue of the weight of a firearm for concealed carry with special attention to it being chambered in a smaller caliber. According to the gun maker, the additional space that’s present in a frame when sizing down to a smaller caliber is usually filled with material, which in turn contributes to the gun’s weight. Bond Arms addresses this issue with the design of the new Stinger Fireball.
While the Stinger Fireball is functionally identical to its counterparts, the gun’s receiver is compatible only with Stinger Fireball barrels. It maintains the same dimensions and functionality but sets itself apart thanks to a lightweight anodized 7075 aluminum frame. The gun has a sleek two-tone design in black anodizing that gives it an appealing aesthetic.
Features of the derringer include a low-profile break action lever on the left-hand side and a B6 resin extended grip. It’s chambered in either .22 Magnum or .327 Fed Mag, both of which are often considered unconventional self-defense calibers. However, both cartridges offer solid ballistics despite their diminutive sizes. The gun weighs in at 14.4 ounces, making it one of Bond Arms’ lightest derringers. The Stinger Fireball has a standard 3-inch barrel and an overall length of 5.5 inches. This gun is designed for superior concealability, comfort, and ease of use. It holds two rounds in the chamber and has a single-action hammer and a 7-pound trigger pull.
MSRP for the Bond Arms Stinger Fireball is set at $389.
