Rossi has released the newest editions to the R95 .45-70 Government line of lever-action rifles, the Triple Black and Laminate models. This expansion came about due to increased customer demand and is said to meet consumer preferences with the R95’s distinct aesthetics.
While the two new models of the R95 .45-70 Govt provide unique features with the proven performance and reliability that consumers expect from a Rossi R95 firearm, they also share some key features. Both of the lever action rifles are chambered in the .45-70 Government pistol caliber and deliver what the company states is a blend of kinetics and aesthetics with the gratifying sensation of lever action cycling. Both models feature an integrated peephole sight on the Picatinny rail to aid in accurate shooting and customization of optics with the rail. Additionally, the stock front sight is adjustable for windage drift to help users fine-tune their shots.
Both rifles share other features, such as a soft-touch recoil pad designed for extra comfort during extended shooting sessions and a 5-round capacity tube magazine. Additionally, the rifles offer options for attaching slings, with the Triple Black model offering integrated sling mounts and the Laminate model offering built-in sling stud mounts.
The rifles also offer unique features to each model. The Triple Black model has a durable, all-weather black Cerakote finish, while the Laminate model offers elegant Stainless and Laminated birch wood furniture, catering to the taste of different shooters’ needs or applications. Also, according to the company’s release statement, the Triple Black model offers a threaded barrel from the factory, making it easy to add a suppressor or muzzle brake, along with a Paracord Wrapped medium loop lever for a distinct appearance.
Both new Rossi R95 .45-70 Govt lever-action rifles are available now. The Laminate model starts at $1,287.99, and the Triple Black model starts at $1,363.99.
