New Gun Mags: not-SHOT 2021
SHOT Show 2021 On Demand is in full swing, so here’s the rundown on the new gun magazines — and mag accessories — for 2021. This is a work in progress, so check back in throughout the week to see the updates.
⊕ Magpul PMAG® 20 AR 300 B GEN M3, 300 BLK
⊕ Magpul PMAG D-50 Magazines for Glock and MP5 — Drums!
Both of these mags take 50 rounds of 9x19mm Parabellum.
⊕ Magpul PMAG 10/30 Gen M3
⊕ XTECH Speedmag
XTech Tactical Speedmag — quick loading AR-15 magazines are made with a proprietary polymer. They tell us this helps prevent deformation from leaving your magazine loaded. There’s also a proprietary follower. And XTech says this makes loading your magazine “as simple as pulling the follower collar down several inches and dropping the rounds into the magazine.”

⊕ NcStar AK Magazine Speed Loader
The company says it works with AK 10 round stripper clips or you can load 10 loose cartridges into the tray. The side tray door is secured with a spring-loaded latch. When the Speed Loader is loaded up with 10 rounds, insert the tethered T-handle pushrod into the top of the loader and push the cartridges into the magazine. Load up another 10 cartridges until the magazine is at capacity. The T-handle push rod has a magnet on the T-handle that retains the empty stripper clip for easy removal. The end of the T-handle push rod will also strip the cartridges from the feed lips of a loaded magazine. The handle is tethered to the Speed Loader body with a blue lanyard.
New Magazine Accessories
⊕ Concealment Express Horizontal OWB KYDEX Mag Holster
According to Concealment Express, this ambidextrous, horizontal OWB KYDEX Magazine Holster is the most comfortable way to carry your spare mag, especially for those that are on the heavier side. By orienting the mag horizontally, you can always carry your spare mag but never feel that it is there. This mag holster is extremely versatile with mounting holes on both sides to accommodate your preferred carry position for OWB Carry and either Right Hand or Left Hand Draw.
