Hera Arms Germany has confirmed it is expanding its offerings in the US with the HERA H6 bolt-action rifle chambered in .223 Remington and .300BLK. The H6 rifle is the result of design cooperation with HERA GmbH Germany and VOERE Präzisionstechnik Austria.

The makers of the rifle are calling it the most modern and easy-to-handle hunting or sporting rifle available today in the two calibers. It features a 46 cm (18” for the Americans) barrel that sits inside the modular M-Lok fore-end. The M-Lok is a natural fit for attaching bipods or target tripods, and has a Picatinny rail mounted for additional options. The fore-end is also compatible with all the AR15 series pieces also manufactured by HERA GmbH, lending itself to high modularity and compatibility.
The HERA H6 features an additional spacer piece to adjust the length of the buttstock, making it extra easy to fit the rifle to the individual shooter’s shoulder. Also, the polymer cheek rest on the stock allows for additional adjustments. The folding stock adapter available from HERA helps the stock fold by 180 degrees, making it easier to store.

Coming in with an overall length of 101 cm (or 39.7”) long, the rifle weighs just around 5.5 pounds. The barrel comes from the factory threaded 1/2×28 and with a HERA A2 flash hider installed. The H6 bolt-action rifle is reportedly perfectly suited for mounting with the HERA LINK system for use with various available suppressors.
The HERA H6 bolt-action rifle comes from the factory with a 10-round magazine but it accepts STANAG/PMAG feeding magazines. The modern bolt-action rifle is available in black, sand, and olive green color options. No set date on when the rifle will be available in the US, but the price tag should be around $1,500.
