GForce Arms Brings New Chronicle 1911 to Market

The saga of John Browning’s Model 1911 endures nearly a century after the prolific gun designer’s passing. The 1911 story is certainly far from over, but GForce Arms has added a new chapter with the release of the Chronicle 1911, which blends the classic design with 21st-century innovation.

Chambered for 9x19mm, it offers the capacity of 9+1 rounds. It also features a single-action trigger with a pull weight of 4.5 lbs (+/- 0.5 lbs) that delivers a crisp, clean pull, while the adjustable Novak rear sight allows for precise aiming. The Chronicle 1911 features a barrel, frame, and slide, all forged from 4140 steel and high-grade aluminum, accompanied by Turkish walnut grips that offer comfort and style.

The barrel further offers advanced button rifling, while the robust frame and slide ensure durability and resilience. It includes grip safety and ambidextrous thumb safety. The entire package weighs 2.2 pounds and measures 7.9 inches long, 1.3 inches wide, and 5.5 inches high, making it a reasonable option for both personal defense and target shooting.
