DeSantis Woodsman Holster: 22LR Ready

Finding the right holster for your needs and the specific model of handgun you’re carrying can be a challenge. Fortunately, DeSantis Holsters understands the need for use-specific holsters. DeSantis Holsters have been trusted for generations to produce quality, useful holsters, and the DeSantis Woodsman is proof of their continued dedication. The Woodsman is designed for target pistols chambered in 22LR, making it perfect for the woods while also aesthetically pleasing enough for carry wherever you need your gun to go.

The DeSantis Holsters Woodsman is designed for OWB (on the waistband) carry, meaning it’s an open-carry holster. It’s certainly possible to conceal this holster with the right cover garment, but odds are you’ll be using the Woodsman in situations where that isn’t necessary. The Woodsman is made in two versions: with a soft black leather interior and a waterproof, durable synthetic exterior finish, or using lined, molded premium tan saddle leather.

The holster is compatible with a variety of pistols including:

  • Browning Buckmark 5 1/2 inch with red dot
  • Ruger Mark IV with red dot
  • Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 41 with red dot
  • Ruger 57 with red dot

This design is also offered for guns that don’t have a red dot sight mounted to them. According to DeSantis, the retention strap of the Woodsman fits most 22LR semi-automatic handguns. It’s designed for guns with barrels between 4 ½ inches and 5 ½ inches in length and is offered for both right- and left-handed shooters. Loops are made to fit gun belts up to 2.25 inches wide. Stitching is heavy-duty and reinforced whether the user chooses a model with or without a red dot cut.

MSRP for the DeSantis Woodsman holster is set at $55.99.
