Bear Creek Arsenal Expands 8.6 Blackout Product Line

Bear Creek Arsenal, a manufacturer of accessories and complete weapon systems, has announced the expansion of the 8.6 Blackout line of products to include new lengths for uppers and complete AR-10 pistols. The new lengths join the original offering from BCA of a 16” upper and complete pistol, offering a full array of options from super short to full-length.

Following the release of the full-length 8.6 Blackout upper and AR-10 pistols in May, Bear Creek Arsenal expanded the line-up to include 12.5”, 10.5”, and 7.5” options to round out the product family. The 8.6 Blackout, a shortened and necked-up 6.5 Creedmoor case, offers subsonic power and accuracy in these AR-10 pistols and uppers for twice the distance and energy and more stopping power than a .300 Blackout.

Using their years of experience, BCA constructs all key components in-house, lending to the overall integrity of the units. The new complete uppers come with a parkerized SOCOM barrel featuring a 1:3 twist rate, flash hider, and a pistol-length gas system. The uppers also include a right-side charging handle and bolt carrier group, all within an M-LOK split rail. The uppers are said to work flawlessly with first-gen DPMS low-profile lower AR-10 platforms thanks to the M4 billet receiver, giving end-users more options with home defense, hunting, or range shooting.

The complete AR-10 pistols from BCA are said to deliver exceptional performance in a compact and lightweight package. The complete AR-10 pistols feature the same components as the uppers but are offered as a finished unit with a BCA DPMS Gen 1 engraved billet pistol lower for easy use right out of the box. According to the company, the high-performance components and precision manufacturing allow the AR-10 pistols to be reliable and accurate with every shot taken. The AR-10 pistols are available in the previously listed lengths for 8.6 Blackout, but the company plans on expanding options to include .308 Winchester soon.

The new expanded line of 8.6 Blackout AR-10 pistols and uppers is available now and starts at $385.89 for the complete uppers or $995 for the complete AR-10 pistols.
