Our family home defense long gun is an AR15 and it is securely staged with the bolt closed on an empty chamber and a fully loaded Magpul PMAG inserted. In the event that we need to retrieve that rifle in defense of our family and home, an important step in that process is charging the rifle so that it is fully loaded.
To make sure that the process of loading the rifle is as simple as possible I have upgraded the charging handle to a Radian Raptor Ambidextrous Charging Handle. The Raptor allows you to charge the handle with a traditional pinch and pull or bladed hand pull on either side of the charging handle. It is simple to use and an efficient way to quickly get your staged rifle into action or to deal with malfunctions in your already in use rifle.
Today Aero Precision began offering the Radian Raptor Ambidextrous Charging Handle with Aero Precision markings in two different models.
The Aero Radian Raptor Ambidextrous Charging Handle is machined in the U.S. from 7075 aircraft grade aluminum and coated with a milspec black anodized finish. The ambidextrous charging handle retails from Aero at $79.95 and provides the end user with the ability to add a brand matching high quality accessory to their Aero rifle that they have purchased or are in the process of building.
The Aero Radian Raptor – LT Ambidextrous Charging Handle is also machined in the U.S. From 7075 aircraft grade aluminum and coated with a type III mil spec anodized finish. In addition, it is over-molded with a fiberglass reinforced polymer for excellent strength and durability. The LT is offered in black, Flat Dark Earth and grey and is designed to match colors you expect to see in Magpul rifle furniture. The Aero Raptor – LT retails for $59.95.
If you have or are building an Aero rifle, it makes sense to include high quality parts in the build. The Raptor Ambidextrous Charging Handle and the Raptor – LT provide outstanding performance and are now available in Aero branding and with colors to match your rifles furniture.
