TAPCO Intrafuse AR-15 223/5.56 30-Round Polymer Magazine
The next generation of AR magazines has arrived and INTRAFUSE® is at the forefront with our 30rd Gen II AR Magazine. It still retains the rugged mag body that the original had, but we’ve made vast changes to the interior components to improve the overall functionality of the magazine. First, we’re making the spring out of premium 17-7 Stainless Steel. Second, we’ve redesigned the shape to make it smoother, quieter, and easier to load all 30 rounds. Plus, we've made changes in spring tension to cut back on the stress put on the mag body when fully loaded, making spine cracks something you'll never have to worry about. But we didn’t just stop on improving the spring, we also totally revamped the follower.
We’ve kept the anti-tilt design but the new follower allows more dirt and grime to pass through the magazine so there won’t be any feeding errors no matter what kind of debris has entered the magazine. Along with these interior design changes, the Gen II magazine does away with the rare drop-free issue that some users were experiencing with the first generation mag.
When you purchase the INTRAFUSE® 30rd Gen II AR Magazine you can be sure that you are the owner of the best AR magazine on the market.

Tapco mags rock on the cheap!
Used these Tapco Gen 2 mags in my 2 DIY builds, having put more than 500+ rds of various types of 5.56 down range, had not a single mag issue no matter the ammo I shot. These are the best mags going outside Hexmag, (which I love) that actually performs just as good if not better then the venerable PMags, only cheaper!
Plus, these are molded with a better grip design than PMags especially with medium thick gloves. Smooth, easy to load as well adds up to excellent product.
I have used them in three different platforms now and they are without malfunction. Tapco says they strengthened the spine and I believe them. When you are loading other mags you can often see the top lips spread a little which is always a concern to me, these do not spread at all, very tough well made and stiff with very good followers.
I have used them for my Zastava pistol (ak variant) and they function flawlessly. They feed at a very high rate something thermold would not do. I use a lot of Mil surplus 20 round mags and they are great but not as good as these tapco mags.
